Katy(LethargicLass) - October 6, 2014 - 8:19 pm

With Hadley I would want something a little traditional… nine patches and pinwheels or something similar.

I have only used Kona before so that is my only experience with solids. I don’t usually use them so I don’t really have a favorite. I will never use black again though. It shows too much lint.

Nicola - May 10, 2013 - 12:26 pm

I get limited solids available here in South Africa (people would rather import patterned fabric) but I do love Kona. I love navy but for quilts I love duck egg blue and scarlet.

I have only worked with Kona solids before (although I don’t like them that much – they seem a bit rough). I love the aqua color they make though!

Tammy - May 10, 2013 - 10:30 am

I mainly use klona as it is wider and cheaper than the others here in UK. It is very crisp off the bolt so sews well but softens up a ton once washed.

I would love the color cards because i can never remember what it was i bought when i need more! I end up dragging half finished projects with me to the store to color match.

I always seem to use Kona and would LOVE LOVE LOVE a color card. Would make ordering specific colors online soooo much easier as monitor colors don’t always match “real” colors!
My favorite color is blue-all and every shade:)

Shayla Sharp - May 10, 2013 - 1:38 am

I like the Bella Solids and Couture Cottons better than Kona. They feel better and don’t seem to attract every piece of lint in the room like Kona. Haven’t gotten to try the others yet.

tusen - May 10, 2013 - 1:19 am

I buy Kona solids most often, although I like the soft silky feel of Cotton Couture, too. I still have to decide which is my favourite colour, it changes almost every day.

I like Kona solids, and my favorite colors right now are blue and grey

Jodi R - May 8, 2013 - 8:17 pm

I am about to start my 1st 2 quilts and I need to find the solids to go with my prints so winning this prize would be awesome. As solids go at the moment I am liking white or grey. They go with everything.

I really love your baby quilt. It is just beautiful.

Janice - May 8, 2013 - 7:58 pm

I don’t have a line I purchase for solids. I am extremely bad at only picking up patterns and then trying to find something to match. I think I could use a color chart.

Oh my goodness, it knocked my socks off. I sold a whole bolt to a customer so there was none left for me! The shop ordered me some and I still got the sale price!
